Mary has 8 children and struggles daily to provide for them through the back-breaking work of collecting and selling firewood. AID is launching a new microfinance project in Marsabit, northern Kenya, alongside the local church, to help men and women stuck in situations like Mary’s. If Mary joins our microfinance project she could develop a much better, sustainable business which would meet her family’s needs.
